Elise Townsend started Townsend Construction, Inc. five years ago and what began as building homes in Prescott Valley and Prescott has quickly flourished into a state-wide enterprise. Being a female builder, Elise Townsend designs her homes from a woman's perspective. Townsend homes are marked with a degree of quality unmatched in the current market thanks to Elise's attention to detail and functionality. Elise fulfills home buyer's expectations to be provided a quality home within a set timeframe, and at a fair price. Her grandfather used to say, "Elise, what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong and you know the difference." She and her staff work hard to do what is right for the home buyer.
Construction has been a part of her life since she was a young child. Elise's father was a commercial electrical contractor so she learned from him. When asked why she entered the construction business, Elise Townsend replied with genuine enthusiasm, "Because it's what I love to do."
She employs over twenty-five individuals in her business and works with over forty-eight subcontractors on a weekly basis. Her homes can be semi-custom or custom-built depending on the needs of the home buyer.
Most of all, Elise prides herself on being a local builder in the Tri-city area. She and her husband Jim, parents of four children, participate in educating local youth at high school career days. Their message to the young people is: "You can do anything you set your mind to."
